IMDG Code e-learning – cost-effective training for shore side staff

Welcome to the website for the purchase and support of IMDG Code e-learning. Here you can view the online brochure or download the course and activate it with codes purchased from your distributor or online.

IMDG Code training became mandatory from 1 January 2010 for all shore-side staff involved in dangerous goods transport by sea. Exis has developed a cost-effective training tool, with the support of the International Maritime Organization, which enables shore side sectors to receive high quality training that complies with both the general awareness and function specific training requirements in the IMDG Code.

Shore side staff requiring IMDG Code training include:- shippers and forwarders, container packers and consolidators, shipping line operations and booking staff, stevedores and port staff.

There are four levels of training provided:
General awareness- for staff requiring a familiarisation with the IMDG Code requirements.
Function-specific- for staff directly involved in dangerous goods transport. The course can be configured according to the student's job role following the functions identified in the IMDG Code training recommendations.
Advanced course- in-depth IMDG Code training with all course content.
Refresher course- includes updates from V9 to V10 of the IMDG Code and refresher training for staff that have previously taken an IMDG Code training course.

There is also an optional configuration focusing on the additional requirements of 49 CFR when shipping into and out of the United States under the IMDG Code provisions.

IMDG Code Access - Students require access to the IMDG Code to take the course, either in book or digital format.
